Operation Christmas Child: tips and tricks

we love doing this every single year with our kids to show them the wonderful gift of giving!

We love to encourage people to do older boys since they are the least likely to get the resources that they need!

✅ anything solar powered- since most of these kids are in pretty impoverished situation and don’t have access to electricity or running water

✅ include a pouch for all of their hygiene tools like a toothbrush, comb, bar of soap and wash clause that they can walk to the river with all of their items

✅ include a pump with a soccer ball since this is the number one most popular sport in the world

✅ school supplies are in high demand since education is a great privilege

❌ I like to steer clear of animals or stuff animals since they usually have a tie to superstitions or evil spirits

❌ stay away from Play-Doh, stickers and other gooey substances

❌ please don’t do liquids, candies, toothpaste or any other kind of hazardous materials for shipping
